We see owls quite a lot, and given we had finally polished off the appalling leylandi which had blighted (strong word I know) the plot we though their demise could be put to good use. Not only are the stumps acting as great fence posts, but they are ideal for a few homemade owl boxes. Do you have owls where you are?
